Malachi 3:10-12
It's interesting to know that we will be blessed greatly for paying tithes unto the Lord. If we don't pay tithes it's almost like stealing and being ungrateful for all he has done for us. So paying tithes is very important in the Church so we will be blessed and become prosperous and show our devotion and gratitude unto the Lord.

Read the context of Malachi 3 in Malachi 4:4 and Nehemiah 10:29.
Gal 3:10
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

The only way to claim the blessings of tithing is to observe all 613 commandments of th law. Otherwikse you are under its curse.
NT giving principles to the Church after Calvary are: freewill, sacrificial, gegnerous, joyful, not by commandments or percentage and motivated by love for God and lost souls.
